Send email from Fibula

Set up an email credential so Fibula can send formatted summaries with the original document attached.

What you'll be able to do

With an email credential connected, Fibula can send a formatted message at the end of any workflow. The original document can be attached, and the body can include any extracted field. Use it for vendor confirmations, internal handoffs, or audit trail summaries.

Connect your sender email

Open Credentials in Fibula and click New Credential. Pick Email from the provider list. Fibula uses your chosen email provider (Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP) to send. Pick the option that matches your setup, authorise the account, and the credential is ready.

We send from the address you authorise, so replies come back to you, not to Fibula.

Use it in a workflow

Drop the Email node onto a workflow canvas, connect it after the step whose output you want to send, then set the recipient, subject, and message template. Extracted fields can be referenced anywhere in the message. The AI agent handles most of the configuration from a plain English prompt.

What's next

For a full end-to-end pattern, see the Xero guide. Email pairs well with any workflow where a human needs to be looped in at the end.
